Description
Bastien Rosspopoff, 33, is an engineer and actuary graduated from the Ecole National Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne and the Institut de Sciences Financières et d'Assurance. He started his career in 2012 at the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR) as an insurance supervisor. He was involved in the implementation of Solvency 2 and the approval of the first internal models of insurers and in particular their modelling of natural catastrophes. In 2015, he joined the Portfolio Management Companies Supervision Division of the Investigations and Controls Directorate of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
From 2017 to 2021, Bastien was deputy to the director of the "expertise" division of the AMF's Asset Management Directorate, where he is in charge of various cross-cutting topics related to asset management, including sustainable finance.
Since 2021, Bastien is director to the transversal supervision division within the same directorate. He coordinate the supervision of sustainable finance on asset management topics and is involved in the European working groups in this respect. He has notably issued AMF guidance on marketing of ESG fund.
