1 | How to reconcile security of energy supply and ecological transition objectives?
Renewable energies are key in all 2050 scenario (IEA, European Commission, France). But in a conflict environment, the security of energy supply issue requires immediate decisions that rely on coal and fossil fuels. How to ensure these decisions do not jeopardize the reach of the Paris Agreement objectives? What is the impact on the economic and financial sector commitment towards net-zero trajectories?

Demand for ESG talents has never been higher. Analysts, strategists, climate experts and others knowledgeable about environmental, social and governance issue are now key and rare assets on the job market. New regulations, extended ESG reporting requirements but also the increase of net-zero and science-based commitments require to disseminate sustainability expertise in all the company’s functions. Over the last few years, FinTech have given traditional financial institutions a run for their money by disrupting their traditionally established models. In most financial places, the market of Green Fintech is emerging, with more and more solutions displaying a green intent. However, their transforming force has yet to mature. 5 | Financing resilience and nature-based solutions for mitigation and adaptation
IPCC has emphasized in its 6 th Assessment the urgency of immediate and more ambitious action to address both climate and biodiversity loss risks. IPCC has reminded that safeguarding and strengthening nature is more than needed for meeting the Paris Agreement’s goals and key to secure a liveable future. This last report recommends to support nature-based solutions absorbing and storing carbon (natural carbon sinks) but also for cooling cities, providing healthy food for communities, etc. It will require innovative solutions for financing restoring degraded ecosystems and effectively and equitably conserving 30 to 50 % of Earth’s land, freshwater and ocean habitats (according the targets which will be defined at COP 15 in December). How to both address climate change and biodiversity loss and finance NBS? How scaling investment in natural capital? What are the tools and solutions for closing the conservation and restoration finance gap? How to ease and decomplexify blended finance?

6 | Responsible and innovative products to meet savers’ sustainability demand
Financial advisers must now consider clients' ESG preferences when conducting suitability assessments. Demand for sustainability financial products is growing but an increasing variety of financial products is becoming available under the ESG umbrella. As responsible investment has risen, so have concerns about greenwashing. Retail savers have difficulties to understand exactly the different types of sustainable products and have little trust in the claims made by the financial actors: SFDR article 8 and 9, SRI, thematic fund, labelled fund, etc. What are the tools and solutions to increase clarity but also confidence in those products? Could traditional products meet these expectations? What examples of innovative products and models can inspire the products designers?

7 | Impact finance : concrete solutions to transform the real economy
Impact finance need to demonstrate intentionality ad additionality along the whole “impact value chain”: at the financial institution level, on the investment or financing vehicle and, at company level, by the business or project supported. As more investors are mobilized towards impact finance, this session aims to discuss concrete and tangible examples on how financial products can contribute to transform the real economy, the role of both the financial institution and the investee company, but also the challenges to scale up those kinds of initiatives.

8 | The $100 billion climate finance: how to reach the promise?
The goal taken at the COP in Copenhagen in 2009 of mobilising USD 100 billion per year by 2020 for climate action in developing countries has not yet been achieved. Developed countries continued reiterating their promises to provide climate funding, now targeted for 2023. Why the target is so difficult to reach? What role the private financial sector could play?
