Biography

Vincent is an investor at Future Positive Capital, a pan-European venture firm born from a singular conviction: the greatest value creation over the next 50 years will be generated by entrepreneurs who apply advanced technologies to advance humanity. More concretely, Future Positive Capital invests in companies that apply technologies like AI and machine learning, robotics, genetics or synthetic biology to build global businesses in themes like energy efficiency and resource scarcity, sustainable consumption, or the future of food and agriculture. Vincent is driven by leveraging finance and innovation to move sustainability ventures forwards. Before joining Future Positive Capital, Vincent was Investment Director at ENGIE New Ventures, the corporate VC of global energy leader ENGIE, where he invested in and supported several European early stage companies developing breakthrough technologies in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency, hydrogen and sustainable gases. Before that, Vincent lead the M&A, investment and project finance for 40+ renewable energy and services projects and companies across Europe. Vincent started his career as project finance advisor and lender for infrastructure projects at Société Générale CIB and then lead the French State infrastructure and energy export finance activities at the Ministry of Economics. He then joined the French Shareholding Agency as an investment manager on energy and health where he was in charge of defining and implementing the French State’s strategy as a shareholder of EDF and other companies. Vincent is a former student of Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and University of California in Berkeley, and teacher about M&A and VC at IESEG School of Management.
